Yeah the wifi switch is on. I can't change the routers settings cos its saying it can't connect to the router * +

have you made sure that wifi is enabled properly in the control panel and ran a diagnostic on the hardware. if everything seems ok, then use a wired connection to the router with an ethernet cable to make sure its actually working *
