Hey guys just wanted your opinion on this. since last week avast has repeatedly given me a message when im online: network shield: blockd DCOM Exploit - attack from 10.194.67.153:135/tcp' chin when im online i get this popup at least every 40 minutes and its highly annoying. it started on ie so i decided to use firefox and it got rid of the message........ until 4 hours now it appears... * +

Just as frequently as it does on ie. i did a google search and someone suggested that if you get this message it may be that a worm/keylogger virus is in your system and is continuously trying to contact some site. so i ran a thorough scan of everything with both avast and malwarebytes anti malware and both scans detected nothing. stupid question but should i be worried? * +

realy its stareing you in the face. its an attack from 10.194blah blah, its the fire wall telling you sum1 is trying to run an exploit but your firewall has blocked it. just turn the notifactions off. * +

funnily enough it hasnt appeared today, but if it pops up again ill post in the avast forum. yeah i read that if i get that message my firewall is working properly and is blocking it but was wondering if i had somehow got a virus into my system as i scan downloaded files before installing etc but last month a thorugh scan on avast detected 2 spyware files for_sure *
