I have compaq presario laptop.i use usb modem for 2 weeks but suddenly i cant conect to the internet.i chkd my modem it is fine.when i try to connect i got a msg CM CLEANED GARBAGE...If i keep trying to connect i got a msg AN ATTEMPT TO ACCESS UNNAMED FILE IS PAST Its end....anybody can here can help me what i must to do? * +

uninstall the usb driver then reinstall it and then all should be fine i remember someone else getting a problem with theres and told them exact same and worked so may not work for you but give it ago and see if it does * +

I tried many times(uninstall then reinstall) bt it doesnt help to solve my prblem..i also tried restoring bt nothing...do i need to format my laptop? * +

if you got norton firewall or anyother firewall program that could be blocking ur connection try disabling them and try again * +
