Firefox and opera and i.e 8 are best. All there are based of different engines. You can also try safari which is based on webkit if i m not wrong but this one comes with loads of unwanted cr*ps * +

i hear the new chrome 4.0 has support for extensions. apparently its the future. small, light, fast and now extentions. i use safari though. nice and fast. * +

The uk magazine micro mart reviewed the most popular browsers recently and there result was: although safari came out as the fastest firefox was said to be the best overall. Proving that speed isnt the only factor in making an effective browser. Personally I Use firefox but I as to what is the best it may be a matter of opinion rather than just tests. * +

After all everyones web habits are different. I think IE8 is slightly faster than IE7 but a lot of experts seem to think IE8 is the last browser we will see from Microsoft. That remains to be seen. * +

i use firefox as my primary because of addons facitly but when i have to use heavy load like facebook, youtube. i prefer safari, need not to mention safari also show rich colors in it. which make more interactive, and attractive. like you simply open google in both firfox and safari and see it for your self. * +
