I had win7 running perfectly until about a week ago, when I installed Bitdefender. Firefox stopped working (crash msg on startup) and I no longer have ANY sound. My sound i working according to device manager and the sound icon is normal on the taskbar. Ive tried unistalling the driver, scanning for hardware changes and reinstalling. Ive downloaded the latest realtek drivers as well. No luck! Help *

lol. I just figured it out. One my the files, namely AUDIOG.EXe had a virus, i cleaned and restored it, everything is fine now. Thanks people. *
