most manufacturers will have a floppy or usb based way of flashing bios. basicaly you creat a bootable disk on eather, add there software and bios files, reboot the pc and boot from the said disk or usb. the software normaly auto runs and you just type yes or no when prompted, then when its done you reboot enter bios and load up optomised defaults. save and exit. if you have a dual bios (a backup * +

should now be manualy saved to the cmos via the bios options menu) in windows (which isnt recomended as firewalls and antiviruses can interfier with updatin) you just runn the manufacturers bios updater, select the location of the new bios file, select delete dmi data (if the option is given) and press start. 2 mins later you reboot and load optomised defaults in bios. job done. * +
