just looked at the nvidia gts 250 its a rebranded 9800gtx+ im just wondering is it worth adding 1 to my system for physx only. or would it be just as good if i went for a low end solution such as a 9400,. i dont want to be in a situation where the nvida card bottleknecks the system while its trying to render physx only. (in case you dont already know but have an answer) i have an i7 , 5870 setup * +

oh yes i would have a physics card all day long its the main reason i have not upgraded from my gtx260 to a 5870 . the hack is easy enough to do with a ati card present . a gts 250 is a bit overkill . I'd recommend nothing more or less than a 9600gt for a dedicated PhysX card. * +

the gts250 can be had for 95 all in or the 98gt which i can get for 73 quid all in so its not a huge amount of cash but i still dont wana waste it. especialy since the 9500gt and 9400gt 45 and 35 quid all in. * +

i was thinking more about the difference in bit rate. 9600gt at 50-55 quid is reasonable though. * +
