Can any1 tell me how to stop my icons vanishing on windows 7 twice now windows media player icon keeps vanishing and i have to keep making another 1 and putting it back on the desktop * +

The windows 7 came with the laptop on the Dvd but i had to install it cause it was 32bit and on my laptop was a pre installed 64bit version *
