on my toshiba l540d laptop there r 5 lights at the front left hand side and the 1st one is always red, any1 no what it is as all the other 1s go green ? thanx * +

canada? When the guy is clearly from the Uk acording to his profile? Is there a little symbol above the light at all? Im thinking it may be a hdd light or wireless unless he has it plugged into mains all the time * +

toshiba l540d isnt the real model number theres the l4 thats a celleron d 540 but thats about as close as i can get. look on the bottom and get the model number. * +
