my laptop was working fine yesterday, mcafee detected a change in my registry by svchost.exe and blocked it! Today it wont load up past my wallpaper no desktop icons or task bar it wont boot up in safe mode and has no restore points any ideas? Thanks in advance... * +

you really should avoid using mcafee .. its notorious for blocking system files .. * +

if i ever get it working again im goin to remove it and put avast or nod32 on... At the moment tho i can only get into task manager so i cant even run mcafee to undo what it did! Lol *
