yep, housecleaning is probably the reason. but you may also want to run ccleaner, and antivirus and somthing like A-squared or malware bytes. * +

Hey, make sure u dont have too many programs running on ur desktop. If u have many, i am sure they r the culprits. U can lessen the number of start-up program by running msconfig from run option * +

Registry Errors. Run a Registry Cleaning Program, Clean your C: drive, Defragment your C: drive. Defragment your System Registry then RESTART your Computer. * +
