Try reinstalling your usb drivers or clean your usb port dust may cause intreption...or try restarting your pc,first open that software then plug your camera * +

try unplugin camera and use a different usb port.the easiest and least painfull way but might not work.maybe a driver for your camera is missing,insert the disc that u got with camera and it should autorun the installation program * +

if u are using an usb keyboard or mouse or any other usb device and it works than probobly your usb drivers are fine. * +
