I set up a network with one pc running XP Pro and the other is Vista Ultimate. The workgroup is perfect and when I ping, the response is immediate. I have a printer connected to the XP pc. When Itry and print from the Vista pc it takes at least 5min to print a page. What could be the problem? The firewalls are also disabled. * +

Why don't you have your printer on the VISTA PC and try to print from an XP PC and see if it's gonna be faster. * +
