99 of new laptops come with windows 7 preinstalled so no surprise there. End of line models may come with vista but will usually come with a free win 7 upgrade anyway. At least after you have paid an admin fee. * +

(99 percent new laptops come with win 7 preinstalled) heres a good tip how to get it completely free though: usually you have 2 go to the manufacturers website and type in your laptops serial number to obtain a copy. If you bought it from a shop tell them the website isnt accepting your serial number. I had this problem with mine and when I Told Pc world they just gave me a free copy of win 7 * +
