http://downloads.kaspersky-labs.com/products/english/homeuser/kis2010/kis9.0.0.736en-uk.exe download and install this version of kis after you have removed norton and rebooted ... use the card with the code on to register it * +

Looks like i've fked up my laptop. Removed norton,installed kaspersky and ever since then whenever i turn my laptop on i just get a black screen and can't do anything at all. Gonna have to take it for repair now * +

you need to boot into safe mode .. press F8 as soon as laptop starts keep pressing it until the boot options come up . . if you can download the removal tool here http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/kavremover10.zip and run it to remove kis in safe mode . or just uninstal it . * +

once you have got back into windows go here http://forum.kaspersky.com/ create an account and post your problem ie black screen after installing kis . they will ask for gsi log to help dignose the problem * +
