I have just performed a BIOS update and it is reading everything correctly. Thank you jay.mack for your help, really do appreciate it! CPU-Z now shows my core speed at 1607 and it jumps up to 2816. My bus speed shows 268mhz and Fsb is at 1071! Think all is fine * +

sounds like its working. probably the bios update that did it. somtimes the motherboards say they support core2duo but they dont support all models till you update the bios. * +
