Iv installed Mcafee on my new laptop and it now says in windows fire wall in a gold bar that its is monitoring my system but under that there are 2 other things one is home or work private thats in red but it says connectedAnd the last 1 is also in red and says not connectedIs this how it should be now * +

Does any 1 know if this is right cause iv checked Mcafee itself its says im protected and iv also checked the action center in control panel and that says its on so why are the other 2 tabs in firewall in red * +

mcafee uses alot of system resource remove that and install nod32 or avast * +

I dont want to take Mcafee off could the 2 red tabs in firewall be like that know because Mcafee has taken over and im using its firewall instead of windows firewall * +

switch Windows firewall off and turn the notifications off so it wouldn't trouble you with saying firewall is off, OR switch MCafee firewall off instead. It's never good to have more than one firewall or anti-virus. And never use NOD32. In my experience it's the worst Anti-Virus EVER!!! And Avast ALWAYS protected my PC. * +

windows 7 firewall got two sets. one for private or one is the internet. if the private is red then its corerrect coz your not connected to a vpn or private home network like airport networks. plain and simple dont worry about it * +

Im on the internet with my laptop and installed Mcafee and using its firewall and viruse scan it says in firewall in control panel sum thing like this this novicications is being monitored by vender application Mcafee on this system in a gold label but the other 2 tabs private home or work and the other 1 is in red is this right *
