Im soon to buy some quite large and expensive pieces of veroboard. Now the usual color of the stuff is light brown or yellow but i was wondering if it would be poss to spray paint it because i want it a deep ferrari red colour on the component side of the board. Then i want to lacquer it and t-cut and polish it up to a brilliant shiny finish... * +

Im concerned about wot might happen when i spray the paint on and then laquer it. Will the holes fill up. Will the colour be right. What happens when i start to solder the components to the board and finaly... * +

So anyway i was thinking of adding blue LED's to light up my project in the sort of way a custom built pc looks. It would look really awesome against the red board i think! * +

Im not sure spraypaint would be the ideal thing to use. I am sure this project's giving u a massive though. * +

i would suggest plasticoat paint rather than metallic . No laquer as it may block holes . Use a heat sink on components . But first test on small piece of vero . You could always redrill the holes if paint clogs them * +
