ok... Long time ago i messed my pc up, somehow i installed vista twice, i think my pc had 2gb ram it now only has 1? Basicly its like my pc has been cut in half n i dont know how to fix it! Nothing works properly at all! Cant update things, cant download things... Im not a tech head but i can use a pc kinda... Obv seems like i cant tho lol... Its vista premium. Is ther a way to wipe my hdd? Help! * +

Have you tried to do a reinstall from scratch, you get the option to format first. * +

I think the only way you could have it installed twice is if you have a partition, if you have then delete it when/if you reinstall, there may be other ways, am on tech head either. * +

You can delete a partition when you reinstall, well you can on xp and am assuming you can on vista. * +

I was using vista ultimate and it used almost a gig of ram from my 2gigs just to idle and it was slow n buggy so i formatted n reinstalled xp. * +

i just tried re-installing and it didnt give me an option to delete ect, it said if i wana make changes run cd from startup.. How u do that? * +
