Only had 3 gigs left on my drive, so I uninstalled gta san andreas to free up space. The install's about 4.something gigs, but when I checked my drive again, it showed 29 gigs free. This a prelude to hardrive failure, or a miracle? *

no. what likely happened is your disk is so fragmented, gta was installed all over the place and left little room to write data next to its fragmented blocks. uninstalling will have likely freed up the wasted space along with the installation space. you need a defrag badly by the sounds of it. it might even find you more space... *
