I'm selling some old laptop parts on ebay and have decided to scan some of the boards cos my camera is cr*p. Before I go ahead and do this, can you tell me if exposure to bright light can damage circuit boards? * +

I seriously doubt it'll fk anything up. U could just take a few kak photos and photoshop em, to be on the safe side though. * +

Well I've never scanned my phone and and it doesn't have circuit boards hanging out of it... yet. Plus, have you seen how bright those things are??? Thing is, I know chips with the covers off are effected by light resulting in corrupted data, but will the chip covers be penetrated? * +

I have a canon Eos series camera. I know how bright a flash are. It cant do f all to it. Old eeproms which was part of old pc's use light to flash it. If you stil got one then its scr*p or a antique in a 100yrs or so * +
