my laptop is slow to start up so l went into bios settings and this is the order of it 1 notebook hard drive 2 usb cd-rom 3 usb hard drive 4 notebook upgrade bay 5 usb floopy 6 notebook ethernet 7 sd card. is this the best order for it ? thanx * +

Just choose your hdd with win on as boot device. Disable the rest. * +

Then you have to check startup items. Defrag your hdd and clean your prefetch folder once every 3 months. The last thing you do is tweak your services. Wot Av do you use * +

All av's r garbage. Try loggin in as different user. If it's faster, den it ur profile settings dat needs tweaking. Alternatively u can switch 2 dat other OS L***x :) * +
