I have a option of purchasing a Samsung 18.5 inch screen or a LG 19 inch screen for the same price. Is there a big difference? The contrast ratio of the Samsung is almost double of that of the Lg. Which option would you recommend? * +

The one with the bigger ratio. With lcd that counts but what gfx card do u have as you need to run it max lcd ratio as minimum * +

samsung is classics.go for samsung as they are the best,lg is cr*p,samsung really works hard and gives its best to deliver u the best with acceptable prices.double of the contrast ain t a small thing * +

don t think,it is transparent,go for samsung,no matter your card,what if u upgrade it later?besides who else uses lg..i had bad experience with lg anyways,my lg phone drop dead after 3 months.plus they don t sell lg phones in my country anymore.that s not good anougph but also,nobody i saw in my country uses lg monitors,so u don t know what u buying.however most of the tech in my home includin * +
