Hey guys I would like to hear ur opinion on a matter. I enabled manual fan control for my graphics card and set the fan to run on 80 all the time. What I would like to know is will it shorten the card's life if I keep the fan at a high speed permanently. It's a Sapphire HD5770 and with the fan on 80 temps range from 33C to high 50's while gaming. *

yes it will shorten the fans life. there only designed to runn at full for short periods mine never goes above 30percent on any game and 57 degrees is the highest temp its got to. they will run at 70 quite happily so no need to have yer fan speed so high. *
