hi guys. today morning i created a dvd bootable win7 installer i think lol. so what do i need to press when my pc starts up to start the installer? i need this info just to test it if it works. * +

first start da pc power on . then quickly put the cd in the cd drive. then look at bottom of the screen. when prompted press enter. * +

enter bios and make the dvd the primary boot, save and quit, when it says boot from cd then press a key * +

@jay. i couldnt find that dvd. i just found cd rom it was at third place. at first place it was the a drive floppy or something. * +

yeah thats it m8 , in bios dvd is refered to a cd drive. * +

if u want a faster boot and not needin floppy u may also concider disabling floppy boot,drive and detection.that is also besides faster and more quiet in some cases,safer. * +

i did that i ve set the dvd as primary and when restarted it checked the dvd i pressed some random numbers but nothing happened! i think the dvd i did is not a bootable one. lol. just for info i did that dvd on nero burning room. and when i put the dvd on pc to check on autoplay it shows me the win7 installer and the browse disc option. is this bootable? what you guys think. * +

dosent sound like its bootbale. maybe burn with power iso or similar. sumthing that is designed for making data bootable rather than burning dvd films/ * +
