i got a hp6735s laptop in september 2009 on contract and my batt icon keeps flashin with a red x and saying i should consider replaceing the battery. so i did a battery health check and it says its detected a failure a warranty id is 4/13/2009.will they replace the battery if i go back to the shop with it ?. * +

i called them and there sending some1 out to pick it up on tuesday ,they said they dont stock batterys and only sell them for hp.now the red x has gone grrr. must be somethin wrong with the battery as am lucky to get 40mins out of it . * +

Yes! Because it sounds faulty. Say it does this occasionally. Lol my laptop is so old it doesn't even start without being plugged into the wall * +
