Dude it's best you have a separate hard drive for that process (so have heard) and try ubuntu site, which has a forum. OR Try scribd.com for document on the above topic. Best of luck.... Waite I don't believe in luck. Well good luck.... s**t forget it * +

Mount points are drive letters. So where you cut it into sizes. Eg first part is 20gb then you nxt mount point will be start of new part * +

system partition to / and swap to linux-swap (selecting swap does that automatically) * +

then you can name the following ones manually (like /mydata) unless you want to split system stuff into separate partitions (not recommended for newbies and basic usage) also use EXT3 filesystem for verified stability and compatibility. Note that if you make extra partitions for data/file storage you might have to mount it manually like sudo mount /dev/sdayx /media/mydata ... don't quote me though i have only system+swap in use *
