open the control pannel and go to system. check the status of the usb there. if theres a fault unintall and reinstall its drivers * +

untick box that lets windows disable the usb porrts to conserve power. Are you usung a hub or a port? Remember you get a limited amount of power for the hubs. so using the extensions on keyboards and such you will have only enough power for a mouse and usb joypad not for bt devices modems etc * +

thats what happens to me my netgear wpn111 uses lots of power and got my usb keyboard and then my wireless usb mouse but when i attach my nokia up via usb it doesnt like it *
