check yer recycler maybe you can restore it from there. if not then you will need sumthing like rstudio but if the file you want is on your current o.s. partition its likley you will corrupt it by installing a new piece of software. if its on another partition then go ahead and try. * +

check it at your recycle bin,if not i have a sw 4 restoratin of lost data. * +

files deleted by windows aren t really deleted,windows just removes all references to tham but they are still existing on your hard drive.now the problem with restoring is that windows now treats that file as empty space and will overwrite it when needed to write another data.u can try recuva (www . piriform . com) but i d say u made a mistake if u used system restore and now the file might be * +

overwritten with previous system info.if possible,install recuva portable on another pc and burn the recuva program files folder to a cd than insert it in your current pc drive and run it from cd.use deep scan and wait 3 hours or so,now type the name of the file in the filter,if its there,it is there restore it with recuva,if not,you re out of luck.remmember,if u really want that file,do not get * +
