just upgraded from a 8500gt to it and with latest and older drivers i get a crashed and recovered driver under win7 but only when i'm on the desktop, its fine when playing games though, any ideas of how to fix this as i can't even surf the net without a crash * +

did u first uninstall the 85 drivers?? uninstall all, go to nvidia , get latest try * +

possasble lack of power. lack of case airflow, get gpu-z, real temp, and driver sweaper. it needs 58watts and minimum 300watt psu * +

if the temps are around 105 then you have a problem with airflow. * +
