you would have to increase the max speed of the drive up to 30.000 rpm ( high speed drives max out at 20.000 rpm) to get a normal undamaged disk to shatter . otherwise it just dsnt happen unless the disk is damaged . and if you put a damaged disk in your drive you deserve getting exploding disks *
