http://www.digitalcamera-hq.com/digital-cameras/professional_ratings.html ..... A 10 megapixel cam is enthusiast range not professional.imo. as soon as you go to blow up an immage you will pixelate a lot sooner thane even the most basic celluloid based 35mm cam. if you want proffesional quality your looking at 30+ megapixel .imo. * +

jay, have a look to see how many 30mp cameras there are! Top of the range canon are only 21mp! * +

Nikon D3000 if you want a semi pro camera for about the same price as the olympus * +
carta28 8.01.10 - 08:48am
Canon EOS 5D Mark II if you want a pro camera but that will cost you up to 2 grand * +

depends what you wanna shoot, canon 5d2 is cr*p for sports and wildlife imo, however, is great for landsacpes and studio work * +

and to be honest if your looking at pro work go for nikon or canon as you can easily hire glass for them * +
jpdv 8.01.10 - 11:21am
and a cheap body and better glass is a more sensible approach * +
