My specs. 2.2GHz dual core, 2 gig ddr 2, 500gig Hd, LGA 775 motherboard. 350w psu. Today i took my pc to a computer shop and they put a 7200gs 256mb nvida card for me. no thats not normal. make sure the heatsync is properly attached, they may have loosend it on purpose to get you back in the shop to buy new parts... * +

it has been known. btw why take it to a shop to get a gfx card put in? you could have saved time and money by postin here. its a simple operation of opening the case removing 1 screw, inserting the card replacing a screw and putting the side back on. * +

I gave them a call and they said it's not a high spec card so the its idle is 60-70 * +

ah i thaught you ment cpu core lol. yes thats normaloperating temps as the card dosent have a fan on it. also you may want to move some wires around in the case to increase airflow. * +
