I got a 2nd hdd and wana install it on my pc. How do i install it. (A) Im leavin xp on hdd 1. I hope to install major apps on/or just run it frm hdd.2. * +

I added a second hdd last nite on xp its simple just set the jumper on the hdd to slave then connect the second sata adaptor on the lead plug in the power and xp picks it up and assigns a letter to it, then format it if need be, now iv got 120gig to keep my music woohoo * +

Do it with the power disconected then when u power the machine up itl pick it up and ask if you want to startup as normal this is what you want to do * +
