My brother bought one today for a cheap 2nd hand. It was working but later when he switch it on the light on the power button just flickers. the light on the mobo is on but the cpu fan starts then stop starts then stop aswell as the fan on the graphics card. I googled it and tried solutions like pressing power button 8 times so on so on even was at dell site, The cpu is working. * +

I removed all drivers, same removed the gfx card nothing. tested the ram its working. tested the power supply aswell and it works. so im clueless. can anyone help * +

personally if it was me i wouldve have stuffed this thing full of c4 and dropped it off at dells care centres but its not mine * +

i know how they look like the j*p ones r the gud ones normally they stuck the cheap ones in the which bulge quickly. i havea quick look and smell to check thx * +

finally got it workin. at the front cover by the fan at front of grating is a button that sticks just a small lil piece. its like a trip switch and even dell own s**ts dnt know bout it geez you can almost see it its by luck or desperation * +

no the intrusion switch is at the back it is disabled sis ohterwise it makes a cr*ppy noise. ive never seen such a thing on a pc. its a very small pin it barely sticks out from the front grating. i just pressd it by acident thought it was clip. * +
