xp can be finikey. when you start the install press f6 to load drivers, you dont need to have any as you can skip this step when it apears but it can make the install more stable as it wont install gineric drivers for some hardware. also make sure you delete any primary partiton that your going to install to and format it after. * +

when i say skip it i mean press f6 anyway, then when it asks for drivers just click continue. *
