Hey der guys.. does an uncapped and fast yet affordable broadband option exist in SA? if yes can u plz tell me a lil bit more about it.. I aint happy wit Telkom.. * +

Www.screamer.co.za they have adsl, wi-fi and wimax options, and arent that expensive, something like r399 uncapped 512 adsl, r270 uncapped 2.5ghz wi-fi 256kbps, check them out, and if u take a capped option its about r23 per gb u go over * +

unfortanetly you will have to use telkom to get connected with MOST of the subscribers. So that R23 a gb will a montly line of over R200 added to which you must pay to Helkom. Nobel peace prize winners sperm is cheaper than the net in this country * +

The r23 per gb also aplies to their wimax and wi-fi, im going to get their wi-fi option im 2.5km from their base station, and by taking the wi-fi option i dont need a telkom line, so it costs me r1700 for the equipment, r450 for instalation, and then it costs me r390 per month for uncapped 512kbps line, dont think thats bad. * +

Like I said Most of the subscribers. neotel uses Helkoms lines I think. But the real problem is the country have alot of internet providors but acess methods That means your connection. Most of them you need to hire a line from Helkom. Our democratic country is so free yeah rite why is there only one telecommunications monopoly? * +

R499 for unlimited. Free modem, and free line rental from telkom. I think its a good offer. * +
