the fastest six core AMD can put out on pretty much everything. I said this a while ago, unless AMD find a dramatic architecture improvement they'll find themselves with massive expensive 12 core chips getting a*se kicked by cheapo small 8 core intels inside 18 month * +

The further you fall behind per core the bigger and bigger the performance gap will get as core numbers increase and the more and more die area you need just to have parity. It'll screw u bad * +

Nvidia because they build x86 chips. Or even have an x86 license in their name they havent tried to buy via alternate companies

all i can say a.m.d is thats great for you, but for all your trouble you got very little in the way of actual performance.. i know you dont play many games but still your cpu will struggle to outperform even amd's low end am2+ or am3 parts. which are very very cheap. * +
