One senior was told to disassemble and clean it. I was just awed how all the components were fixed using huge nuts and bolts lol. It was real desk top not tower. Mother board was as huge as 25 inch flat screen monitor. * +

The only reason they released dual core cpu's was to help combat the heat issues with say a single cpu running at 4 or 5ghz. It wasnt financially viable to design a single core high speed cpu for the consumer market. It wont be long before we reach the limit of what we can do with silicon unless intel manage to pull another rabbit out of their hat! * +

Many people think 2 cpu's in one computer is a modern idea, well it is and it isnt. The idea of having a cpu with more than 1 core is certainly new but having more than one cpu in a single machine isnt. Apple did it with power macs at least 8 years ago and you could buy a motherboard for a windows computer that supported 2 processors. So in a way its nothing new. * +

In a way that dual processor idea was a more efficiant concept because both cpu's were running for most of the time unlike modern dual core systems where the 2nd core lies dormont most of the time. * +

I fondly remember the day intel said they would never make a processor that ran any faster than 200mhz! That was back in the 90's and now look at it! *
