life runs in cycles and their cycle has now crashed and burned. the cult of adolf ferguson was their strength and their weakness...what did he really build post ferguson? nothing! because he was bigger than manchester united and so was his ego... * +

To be fair, he left Moyes with a side that were good enough to win the league last season. It was always going to be a tall order for Moyes, as it would be for anyone, to succeed Ferguson. I hope they give him a fair crack because it's unfair to make quick judgements on a guy who has replaced the most successful manager in English history. * +

losing fergie loses points.. There will be no 'Moyes time'.. refs won't be scared about penalty decisions at Old Trafford anymore.. plus there's the loss of someone who got the most out of his players and knew when it was time to jump ship.. be interesting to see how it goes over the next couple of seasons.. gonna take a miracle to turn this one round unless they do what Chelsea managed the other year.. and the debts/sponsorship setup mean that they can't be out of the champions league * +
