Lara or Tendulka. It is as subjective as you get so you have to put it down to who you enjoyed watching bat the most and for me it is Lara hands down. * +

I once saw Lara go for a net during the lunch break in a test, not much unusual in that apart from the fact he was a not out batsman at the time on the way to another ton. I'd hate to split them, both Lara and Tendulkar have been brilliant down the years, Lara in a team that often had little to back up his talent. * +

exactly @viner not taking anything away from tendulkar but he had other great batsmen around him who could take a bowling attack apart an relieve some pressure off him , lara carried the west indies team for a decade * +

Thats fair comment about lara being in a weaker team.you can make a case for both of them.just wish either of them had been english *
