I agree to the extent that Spurs were a poor side when Bale 1st rolled up at the lane but so was he.Yes he's doing well now but back then I remember the usual media hype surrounding him and Spurs catered for him to make a big impact. Funny stu you say he's never been poor, but a few of my yid mate's were labelling and blaming him as to why they kept getting beat when he played. Nearly as good as Ronaldo? Do make me laugh * +

Is Bale as good as Ronaldo, no, is he as good as Ronaldo was at 23, no, would I like to see him at a top European club like United or Madrid etc then yes cos he could hit the heights there * +
