They stated that black and gay or, heavens forbid, gay black players, are undeserving of their great city. If this had happened at an english club, Pratini would be frothing at the mouth trying to get them banned. ban

If thats what the Zenit fans want then what's the problem? I'm not bothered personally about skin colour but I would like my team to be all English in an ideal world.The old 3 foreigner rule in the 1990s worked well i thought.As for gay players there aren't any known ones unless Zenit fans know differently. * +

In a ideal world I'd have eleven scousers on the pitch turn out for us every week, I'm just glad we still do have a few local lads playing for us be a sad day when there aren't any scousers in the squad.

Its one thing wanting an English team and another just a white or non homosexual player. There are Afro-Russians but that statement would no doubt exclude them just because they aren't white....I would love for there to be a bunch of top english players but it wouldn't matter what ethnicity they supposedly were for any of the clubs in this country. It shouldn't anyway * +

Feb 27 1999 was the last time an all English team played in the PL. Villa used 14 English players that day and got beat 4-1 by Coventry. * +
