Hang on a minute, if I read the wording of his ban correctly, it says that he is 'banned from all footballing activity' for 4 months. How is a multi-million pound transfer deal, which will no doubt be of great financial gain to the player, between 2 of the most famous clubs in the world not a 'footballing activity'? I would suggest this is all a giant charade and has all been done quite deliberately for maximum publicity and/or to ensure a big money transfer.
