Last nights Serbia v England U21's match ended with angry scenes and chaos on the pitch, following monkey chanting and racist abuse from serbian fans and alleged on field provocation of black english players by the serbian team. The FA has lodged a formal complaint with UEFA. * +

I am from Serbia and I admit I was ashamed last night when I saw them fighting at the end. I am not trying to justify those players but you need to have in mind they are all very young, bunch of hot shots who cant deal with emotions all the time. speaking about racism, people here do not understand how big that problem is in Europe, they were making those sounds just to provoke your players. bunch of hyenas, If they smell one's weak spot they will charge on it no matter what... * +

A lot of negative energy is around all our squads, from U17 to seniors. All people in our football are making mistakes, starting from head of our FA down to brainless fans. Cant stand it really. * +

personally doin monkey chants towards black players in this day and age is cringeworthy.its what i used to hear in the 80s an 90s * +
