I read about the other players banned. Its a pretty big scandal when the league champs have their manager banned. It could easily affect any RvP transfer. arsenal are probably either gonna have to let him run out his contract or sell to United cos it seems they are the last ones standing right now. Alessio cannot manage the side either. * +

It's an interesting battle within arsenal, there's no financial pressure on the club to sell so they can wait it out if they want but RvP will probably force the issue if it goes on too long. He clearly wants away so he may have to make it happen. * +

You say there is no financial pressure. In the sense of them not desperate to sell yes, but they aren't as dumb as they look. They would still prefer to take their 15-20m for him now and replace him surely than get nothing in a year. If he were at my club i would actually want to sell and have some useful money from it and be rid of any potential morale or disputes internally next season * +
