i dont agree that bradman was best ever, most of his runs came from playing england..did he face real quicks?quality spin??on sub-continent tracks?most people go according to average, wich is not correct by picking the best.a players like kp,chanderpaul,ab de villiers, crowe mention a few average more than mark waugh,in my books mark was a better batsman more class etc but his average never justisfied it.

His average was 99 the very best of his peers were early 50s. He did face quicks, maybe not Shoaib Aktar quick but still quick, on uncovered pitches with sweet fvck all body armor. True averages only tell half a story but his numbers if you look at them are freakish. He was a genuine freak. All sports he excelled. He practiced by hitting a golf ball with a wicket against a wall ffs. * +

And no way in hell was Mark Waugh a more classy batsman than Martin Crowe. * +

Ponting I am iffy. Look I rate the guy but look who he played with during his zenith he had no pressure. Didnt tour that well, and bug*er all 10plus hr vigils. I honestly would chuck a Sangakara or an Inzy, Dravid, Sewag, A Flower, G Smith, Fvck even Gilchrist in the mix instead of Ponting. Plenty of others that I will kick myself for not naming too. * +
