Who are the stick on medal hopes for your country this year? I see after 2008s pathetic attempt by SA of just a single silver medal they have drafted in a guy with Forrest Gump style magic legs 
. Don't they have athletes in SA? * +

We're competing as a nation but it seems some of our brethren from the lesser known countries in our set up are carrying somewhat large chips on their shoulders. Wonder if their attitude will change if they win a medal

I can think of a Scottish cyclist, a Welsh 400m hurdler.There is bound to be more Scottish, Welsh gold hopefuls.Can't think of any Northern Irish hopefuls though.That is not a dig either.So i think it is unfair to single out certain countries * +

NZ we have very good chances with the following rowing, triathlon, track cycling individual and team pursuits female shotput, nick Willis 5000m run, equestrian, mens hockey k2 kayak both male and female, female bmx some of the sailing classes. rowing and cycling are by far our best prospects. * +

we have plenty athletes in the local townships oilrig. some of them specialise in the 100m and 200m sprints from the cops and some are brilliant in the high wall jump events * +
