Indeed life does run in cycles...Liverpool had their era and so did Manchester united...nothing lasts forever.. * +

Not a united fan but one season where they lose the title doesn't mean an end of an era.. Chelsea won a few times but united still manage to regain the title the next season or so. * +

winning it the first time in the modern era is always the hardest...the Salford crew won't see the title again for many years to come....city have fine management aligned with financial power that cannot be rivaled...unlike Chelsea they also have mature ownership. * +

But they won the title in stoppage time, both Manchester sides threw away the lead, it went down to the last game. City has a team worth more than United, going by all the money spent in the last few seasons. You can't go by one season to declare an end of an era tbh. * +
