What a stupid decision by the ref. And to all of those that claim Hopkins was faking... why would he be faking? He is professional and has been in with the best. He wasn't getting beat up. Why is it so hard to believe that his shoulder really was messed up in a fall where he lands on his arm in an awkward way? * +

First of all he did not fall. Dawson grabbed his leg and lifted him giving him the shoulder dropping him to the ground. That's a foul and a serious one. According to both California and unified boxing rules, a deliberate foul that leads to an injury that halts the contest should result in a disqualification of the fouling boxer. So, by my own interpretation, Dawson should've been disqualified. * +
